Gloria M. Drey, age 80, of Fleetwood passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012 in the residence of her son Matthew W. Drey after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Reading the daughter of the late Robert F. and Esther (Pyle) Miller. A graduate of Reading High School class of 1949. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Fleetwood. Gloria had worked for Concern, Inc. for fifteen years retiring in 1993. Gloria couldn’t resist crossword puzzles, mystery novels or a beautiful plant. She also looked forward to her annual trip to Canada with her family and weekend excursions to Maryland. Survived by her sons Mark D. Drey husband of Barbara Drey of Wernersville and Matthew W. Drey husband of Cori Drey of Mertztown. Daughter Denise M. (Drey) Beiler of Mohnton and daughter in law Vannesa widow of Steven Buehrer of Hamburg. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren Other survivors are a brother Robert F. Miller, Jr. husband of Kathy Miller of Mt. Penn and sister Patricia (Miller) wife of Lee Garrigan of Riverview Park. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
