Betty J. Hassler age 88, formerly of Blandon, passed away Saturday April 7, 2012 in the Henry Health Care Center ofThe Lutheran Home Topton. She was the wife of the late Wayne B. Hassler who died on December. 8, 1999. Born in Ruscombmanor Township, the daughter of the late Irvin W. and Hulda N. (Barrall) Barlet. Betty was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She is survived by step son Kenneth W. Hassler of Lyon Station; two step daughters Shirley E. Hassler, Boyertown and Kristine A. (Bossler) wife of Dennis M. Barrall of Fleetwood. Seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Also surviving are two nephews Kenneth N. and his wife Connie Henry of Fleetwood and Barry L. and his wife Linda Henry of Mohrsville and a niece Linda S. (Henry) wife of Harold Schappell, Topton. Preceded in death by a sister Fern O. (Barlet) Henry. Services will Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be 10:00AM to time of service with burial in St. Paul’s Union Cemetery.
