John A. Strunk Sr., age 33, of Sinking Spring, passed away Monday September 17, 2012 from a car accident. Husband of Christi R. (Myers) Strunk. Born April 20, 1979 in West Reading, son of Cheryl A. (Baker) Strunk of West Lawn and the late Richard J. Strunk. He was a stay at home dad taking care of his children. He also had worked in construction. John was a graduate of Wilson High School. His interests were hunting, fishing and loved his dogs Schmitties and Yayo. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and especially loved spending time with his family. Survived by his wife Christi and his children Haile J. Strunk, John A. Strunk, Jr., Tayla R. Strunk, Justin A. Strunk, Arianna C. Strunk, Ryken J. Strunk and Avalee A. Strunk. A step son Collin Giles. Other survivors include a brother Jason A. Strunk and his companion Mandie Dougherty of Minersville, step sister Michelle A. Strunk of Temple, aunt Brenda L. Baker of Sinking Spring and cousins Ilene Baker and Lucas Baker. Also two nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be Friday September 21st at 11:00 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Friday 9:30AM to time of service. Contributions can be made to the memorial fund of John A.
