Beulah E. Kramer, age 85, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away February 19, 2013 in The Lutheran Home at Topton She previously was a resident at Berks Leisure Living in Perry Township. The wife of the late Curtis G. Kramer, who passed in 1987.
Born on August 5, 1927, in Fleetwood, she was the daughter of the late Charles Strausser and Edith (Bachman) Strausser.
A graduate of Fleetwood High School class of 1945. A member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Fleetwood.
She worked at the former Fleetwood Shirt Inc. and Fleetwwood Sportswear for many years. In her retirement she spent 20 years as a baby sitter for many families. She loved to cook especially baking cookies for family and friends. Other interests included crocheting and doing crafts.
Survived by her children Christine M. (Kramer) wife of George D. Whitefield of Fleetwood. Curtis G. Kramer, Jr. and his Dolores Kramer of Reinholds. Also surviving are five grandchildren Lora Mirk, Colleen Stamm, Chad Kramer, Jesse Whitefield and Tyler Kramer and Seven great grandchildren. She is survived by a sister Doris (Strausser) Knoll of Fleetwood.
Preceded in death by three brothers Carl Strausser, Edwin Strausser and Alfred Strausser.
A viewing will be Tuesday at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00PM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery.
