Alexander Szabo, passed Friday March 21, 2014 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 12, 1934 in Tiszacsege, Hungary. He emigrated to the USA in December 1956 as a refugee. Employed by Central Brass Works for 35 years. He retired from Dor-Mae Industries in 1999. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Reading, PA.

Survived by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth (Nagy) Szabo, his children and their spouses: Alex and Beth Szabo of Jacksonville, FL, Steven and Inta Szabo of Reading, Kathleen A Szabo-Goss and Gregory Goss of Bernville. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Steven A. Szabo and Sara Nelson of Brunswick, GA, Ian M. Szabo of Tampa, FL, Deanna K. Szabo-Crews and Justin Crews of Deming, NM. Also his great grandchildren Shaun Szabo, Kaleena Szabo of Brunswick, GA. Other survivors include his brother Tibor Szabo of Debrecen, Hungry, brother-in-law Zoltan Nagy and his wife of Budapest, Hungry.
