Alfred B. Readinger, age 85, of Rockland Township, passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 in Reading Hospital.

Born in Rockland Township, the son of the late Earl B. Readinger and Esta B. (Boyer) Readinger.

Alfred attended Kutztown High School agriculture education. He was a U. S. Army veteran who served in Germany.

He had worked as a truck driver for the following companies; Jesse Kroninger Trucking, Red Cheek, Kraft Foods and McGuire Trucking retiring in 2009.

Alfred was a life member of Reading Motorcycle Club where he serving as past president for 12 years. He loved his Harley Motorcycles, going to casino's, collecting tractors and operating back hoes. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing.

Alfred is survived by his children Michael B. Fritz, Jerry A. Readinger, Crystal L. (Readinger) Ludwig,  Kevin L. Readinger and Judy L. (Readinger) Donnelli. Also grandchildren Brian, Stephanie, Gregory Chad, Cody, Kasey and Brandi and nine great grandchildren.

Other survivor's include siblings Daniel B. Readinger,Vera (Readinger) Smarr and Samuel B. Readinger.

He was predeceased by his grandson Steven, brother Joel and sister Fern.

A viewing will be Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street Fleetwood. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American heart Association, P.O. Box 840692,
