Alice Miller

Alice J. Miller, 94, of, Ruscombmanor Township, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA.

Born on July 20, 1931, in Hamburg, Berks County, PA, Alice was the daughter of the late Wallace Miller and Lillian (Henry) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her foster parents, Robert and Mattie Cole, and a brother, Wallace L. Miller, Jr.

Alice was a devoted member of the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she faithfully prepared the church bulletin for 50 years and assisted with cleaning the church for 10 years.

She was a lifelong dog lover and over the years owned six American Eskimo dogs, with her favorites being Queenie and Trixie. Alice also enjoyed gardening and took pride in caring for her plants.

For 40 years, Alice worked as the housekeeper for Eunice and Albert Boscov where she also helped care for their daughters Ruth, Ellen and Meg.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Pricetown Cemetery, 23 Cemetery Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560.
