Alicia, or Lis as we her family and friends called her, was born on November 3, 1957 and ever so peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
Alicia was the loving mother of Kilian Paul Jerome and his fiance' Tate Behm, of Oley, PA. She was the precious first born daughter of Beatrice Grim, wife of the late Paul H. Grim and her father the late Angel A. Delgado and step mother Mary Jane Delgado.
In addition to her son, she is survived by her siblings, William D. Delgado, husband of Tina; Pamela J. Bowers, wife of Stephen; Deborah S. Delgado, companion of Marc Neff Sr.; Angelo (Tony) Delgado, husband of Lisa; Loyda Brendle, wife of Kevin; Angela Campbell; Danielle Montemayor, wife of Julio Sr. and Kevin Campbell, fiancé of Silvia Lizzet Valdez. She was the loving aunt to seventeen nieces and nephews and eleven grandnieces and grandnephews
Alicia was a 1975 graduate of Reading High School and a 1979 graduate of Alvernia College with a BS degree in Criminology. She was a dedicated employee and advocate for her clients at SAM, Service Access and Management. Previously, Alicia worked as a psychosocial rehabilitation counselor at Threshold's Mosaic House. In addition, she was a part time waitress at Golden Oaks Golf Course, Evergreen Country Club and Reading Liederkranz.
Through the years, she participated in Junior and Senior Girl Scouting. She also volunteered for her son's Boy Scout Troop 508, attending the Boy Scout Jamboree and the Seabase expedition to Key West. Her many passions included gatekeeping at WWII Fest, Keystone Blood Bank Flight for Life, Professional Referral Exchange, and The Greater Reading Young Professionals Network (GRYP)
Alicia enjoyed concerts, the Celtic Music Fest, the PA Renaissance Fair, The Reading Symphony Orchestra, Belly Dancing at Hoffa's New World Gypsies, gardening, entering her flowers at the Oley Fair and loved her kitty cats Bella, Snicker Doodle and Tinker Bell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. , 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA.Memorial Service
