Allyson A. Stern, age 45, of Fleetwood, passed away on Monday September 18, 2017  in Penn State Health St. Joseph, Reading. She was the wife of Michael D. Stern, they celebrated 23 years of marriage on May 7th.

Born on January 3, 1972 in Reading, the daughter of Helen E. (Oswald) Kerr of Fleetwood and the late Leon M. Kerr.

Allyson was a 1990 graduate of Fleetwood High School. After high school she received an associate degree in nursing from Reading Community College and later  a BS degree in nursing from Waldin University.

She was employed by Reading Health System for 19 years as a registered nurse.

Allyson enjoyed going to her children's sporting events. Other interests were baking and cooking for family and friends. Spending time at her home away from home in Sullivan County.

Allyson  is survived by her husband Michael, son Austin M. and daughter Paige E. Stern of Fleetwood. Other survivors include brother David L. Kerr husband of Cindy Kerr of Fleetwood, Bradley S. Kerr, Fleetwood, Anthony D. Kerr, Fleetwood and sister Cynthia A. (Kerr) Zackowski, Pottstown. Also 4 nephews, 7 nieces, and sister in law Bella Kerr.

A viewing will be Thursday evening Sept. 21st from 6:00PM to 9:00 PM and Friday morning Sept. 22 ^nd from 10:30AM to 11:30AM. Funeral services will follow Friday at 11:30AM. Viewing and funeral services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
