Andrew B. Eckroat, age 77, of Groveland, Florida, formerly of Fleetwood passed on October 4, 2021 at Advent Health Waterman Hospital. Tavares, Florida.  The husband of Janet L. (Wendell) Eckroat, They were married on October 22, 1971 and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Andrew was born in Reading, and was the son of the late Charles W. Eckroat and Marie Dorothy (Hougland) Eckroat.

He was a graduate of Fleetwood High School class of 1962. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1964 to 1968.  He then received an associate degree from Keystone College.

Andy was employed by Lucent Technology, Reading as a refrigeration air conditioning mechanic retiring after 20 years. He was a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineer Society.

Andy loved boating would spend winters on his boat in Florida.

Andy was quoted as saying "Have a kind thought and then have a beer".

Surviving is his wife Janet and sister Mary Catherine (Eckroat) Leeper of Bernville and brother David A. Eckroat of Fleetwood. Also several nieces and nephews.
