Anna M. Boyer, 83, of Fleetwood, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on May 11, 2014 in Reading Hospital Medical Center. The wife of Neil D. Boyer, with whom, she recently celebrated 62 years of marriage on April 19th.
Born on March 17, 1931, in Breinigsville, the daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Kutz) Spohn.
She was a 1949 graduate of Kutztown High School. Anna was employed for many years by Tarsus Corp., Fleetwood. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Anna was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always found joy in attending her family's sporting events and musical performances. She enjoyed listening to country music and was an avid Phillies fan. In her earlier years , she enjoyed bowling.
Anna is survived by her husband Neil and four children Ricky N., husband of Nancy C. (Berger) Boyer, Muhlenberg Twp.; James H., husband of Karen K. (Kemmerer) Boyer; Fleetwood; Michael J. Boyer, Fleetwood and Ann L. (Boyer), wife of David P. Angstadt, Fleetwood.
Also surviving are six grandchildren: Bradley Boyer, Melissa Adams, Jourdan Angstadt, Evan Angstadt, Vanessa Boyer and Christian Boyer; a great grandson Wesley Neil
Adams and a sister, Eleanor (Spohn) Schonely of Longs, SC.
Anna was predeceased by her four siblings: Catherine Boyer, Ruth Parkes, Donald Spohn, and Warren Spohn.
She will be sadly missed by her dog Teddy who was her constant companion.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 117 East Arch Street, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Inurnment will be private.
