Anna M. Emerich, age 92, of Fleetwood, formerly of Walnuttown passed away Tuesday April 8, 2014 in the Reading Hospital Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Theodore L. Emerich who passed on April 13, 1965.
Born on October 18, 1921 in Walnuttown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Kline and Florence (Lutz) Kline.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fleetwood.
Anna spent her life being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She especially enjoyed baking and crocheting. She looked forward to Friday's breakfast with her family. She loved the Phillies and going to listen to her son's band.
Surviving are her children Lynn Emerich husband of Mary of Bernville, G. Larry Emerich husband of Maryann of Temple, Donald Emerich husband of Maxene of Fleetwood, Bruce Emerich husband of Jean of Nunica, Michigan, Robert Emerich husband of Bonnie of Fleetwood, Steve Emerich husband of Brenda of Temple, Terry Emerich husband of Kim of Newark, Delaware and Tracey (Emerich) wife of Jeff Allebach of Blandon. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Other survivors include a nephew Lee Kline.
Anna was preceded in death by her son Delbert Emerich, two daughters Fay (Emerich) Engleman and Carol (Emerich) Houck. Also brothers Paul, Ben and sister Barbara.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday the April 12th from Mae A Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Saturday 10:00AM to time of service Burial will follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
