Anne L. "Posey" Madenford, 77, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Barry L. Madenford, who preceded her in death on September 25, 2023.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. Conrad and Virginia A. (Frederick) Conrad. Posey was a proud 1965 graduate of Kutztown High School, where she was honored as the female athlete of her senior class. For many years, she served on the Fleetwood Borough Recreation Board and was a dedicated stroke judge at Fleetwood swimming meets. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Parish in Kutztown.

Posey found joy in spending time at Longneck, Delaware, where she loved going to the beach, boating, and clamming. Family was the center of her life—she never missed her daughters' sporting events and lovingly cared for her parents. One of her happiest moments was relaxing on the back porch with Barry. After Barry's passing, her loyal dog Buddy brought her immense comfort, becoming "the son she never had and a brother to the girls."

Posey is survived by her three devoted daughters: Jodi A. (Madenford) Pflueger, wife of Barry Pflueger; Amy L. (Madenford) Davi, wife of Federico Davi; and Katie J. (Madenford) Reitnouer, wife of Britney King. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Rachel Davi, fiancée of Kenny Marcus; Vincenzo Davi; Cassidy Pflueger; Chloe Pflueger; Gracie Reitnouer; and Mason Reitnouer. Posey is further survived by her siblings: Patrick Conrad, Michael Conrad, and Theresa (Conrad) Stitzel.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, located at 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA. Burial will take place in Fleetwood Cemetery.
