Anneliese Rissmiller, 87, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the beloved wife of the late James D. Rissmiller, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 5, 2003.

Born in Nurnberg, Germany, Anneliese was the daughter of the late Andreas Weigl and Erna Maria (Laubert) Weigl.

Anneliese worked at the Fleetwood Shirt Corporation and Red Cheek Inc. before retiring from Sun Sweet Inc. in 2003. She cherished spending time shopping and visiting markets, and she enjoyed dining out with family and friends. She especially loved traveling to Germany to visit her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Monika, wife of Terry Hamscher. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, June A. Ehrgood; her granddaughter, Shelly Haas; her brother, Horst Weigl; and her sister, Marianne Anderson.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
