Ardell J. Sayer, age 70, of Fleetwood, passed away on Thursday September 13, 2018 in Penn State Health St. Joseph's Medical Center. The wife of Dennis W. Sayer, they celebrated 8 years of marriage on May 12 ^th .

Born in West Reading, the daughter of the late Emanuel W. Bailey and Pauline V. (Meals) Bailey.

Ardell was a graduate of Fleetwood High School and the former St.Joseph's School of Nursing, Reading. Prior to her retirement she worked at Manorcare Health Services in West Reading for 25 years.

She was a member of Maidencreek Church.

Survived by her husband Dennis and daughters Stacey Sands of York and Tracey Folk of Reading. Aslo there are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Other survivors are five sisters Jean (Bailey) Yoder of Walnuttown, Eleanor (Bailey) Breidstein of Oley, Rosalie (Bailey) Ohlinger, of Blandon, Diane (Bailey) Behn of Fleetwood and Kathy (Bailey) Hilbert, Fleetwood. A viewing will be held Wednesday morning September 19 ^th from 9:30 AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM from Mae A. Stump Funeral home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.
