Beatrice A. (Schaeffer) Froelich, age 96, of Reading, passed away on Sunday August 7 2022 at Maple Farm, Akron, PA. The wife of the late Douglas P. Froelich, who passed on August 5, 1989. Born in Walnuttown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Irwin E. Schaeffer and Annie Marie (Schittler) Schaeffer.

Beatrice had worked at Bachman Pretzels, Reading 15 years and 22 years at Construction Fasteners retiring in 1988.

She is survived by her nephew Scott Schaeffer husband of Charlene Schaeffer of Denver, PA and nieces Roz M. Weiss wife of Todd Weiss of Refton, PA, Darlene Davis wife of Thomas Davis of Hartford, AL.. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband and son Kenneth P. Beck and siblings George C. Schaeffer, Russell D. Schaeffer, Edwin I. Schaeffer, Arthur R. Schaeffer and Greta A. Schaeffer.

A viewing will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
