Bernita I. Reed, age 59, of Rockland Township, passed away on Sunday January 7, 2018  in her residence.  She was the wife of the late Billy A. Reed who passed in 2016.

Born on January 17, 1958 in Reading, the daughter of the late Arthur M. Landis and Julia M. (Schaeffer) Landis.

Bernita was a 1975 graduate of Fleetwood High School. After high school she received an associate degree in accounting from Reading Area Community College.

She was employed by UGI Unities for 25 years. Other employment included the former Empire Steel and Adelphia Seafood.

Bernita enjoyed NASCAR races and favorite driver Dale Earnhardt in #3. Her other interests are reading and bowling.

She is survived by her children William A. Reed of Rockland Township and Nicole A. Reed wife of Andrew D. Klinksiek of Raleigh, NC. Also grandson Levi A. Klinksiek.

Other survivors include brother Larry L. Landis of Fleetwood; Dewey M. Landis husband of Kim Landis of Kutztown and Deidre A. (Landis) wife of Barry W. Brown of Mohnton..

A visitation will be Friday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.
