Betty Jane Rader Gerlach Snyder, of Oley, Pa., regained her sight, hearing, and took a big gulp of Heaven's pure fresh air at 11:55 PM January 20, 2014. Born in Reading, Pa. on September 13, 1925, to the late Ethel Reinoehl Rader. She was the widow of Norman A. Snyder who died March 21, 1983. Betty worked her whole life in Berks county and was the best baker in the world, making delicious pies and cakes for Arner's and Moore's Restaurants. She is survived by her children and grandchildren who will forever be inspired by her courage, independence, and total devotion and support for each of them.

Many adoring nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Mark Gerlach, a grand daughter Heidi Renninger, a brother Paul Rader, and a sister, Ethel Lape.
