Obituary
Brent S. Gilson, age 36, of Blandon, passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 in Lower Alsace Township. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of J. Michael Gilson and Betty L. Gilson of Blandon.
A graduate of Fleetwood High School class of 1994. He received an associate degree in computer technology from University of Phoenix.
Brent had been employed by Legend's Restaurant, Reading and Captain's Cove Restaurant and Bar, Reading, for the past three years. He loved to cook and spend time with his many friends, especially being with his dog Spike.
A viewing will be held Saturday morning 9:30AM to 11:00AM with funeral services following at 11:00 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 W. Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
