Carol Elva Andre, 86, of Kutztown, PA, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, PA. Born on April 3, 1938, in Canton, St. Lawrence County, NY, she was the daughter of the late Denver Davis and Marion D. Smith (Hall).

Carol was a proud graduate of Gouverneur High School, class of 1955. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Joseph G. Andre, of Kutztown, PA, and their children: Joseph Andre (wife, Sandy), Robert Andre (wife, Denise), David Andre (wife, Kimberly), Aaron Andre (wife, Karla), Kimberly (Andre) Haraske (husband, Glenn), Debra Andre, Teresa (Andre) Zettlemoyer (husband, Mark), and Jeanne (Andre) Holman (husband, Ted). She was also blessed with 29 grandchildren,39 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson, who brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, she is survived by her step-brother, Gary Smith.

Carol was predeceased by her father Denver Davis, mother Marion Smith, grandson Jeremy Andre, brother Ralph Davis, step mother Ruth Davis, step father Stanley Smith and step sister Bonnie Claflin.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. A second viewing will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at St. Mary's R C Church, 14833 Kutztown Rd., Kutztown, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Carol will be laid to rest at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood, PA.
