Cheryl C. Carter, age 67, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2017 in Reading Hospital Medical Center. She was the wife W. Alan Carter , they celebrated 49 years of marriage on September 7 ^th .

Born in Reading on April 4, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Donald Youse and Marjorie (Hoch) Youse.  Cheryl was a graduate of Kutztown High School class of 1968. .

She worked for the Fleetwood Area School District retiring after 35 years. She loved spending time in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey her other interest were going to craft shows, camping.  Being surrounded by family was her favorite time.

Surviving are her husband Alan and daughter Christina M. (Carter) wife of Douglas Lesher of Fleetwood; son Timothy A. carter of Fleetwood. Grandchildren Cody Lesher, Kyle Lesher, Darius Carter, Talan Carter. Also surviving is a sister in law June Youse of Rome, PA. and two nieces and one nephew.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister Wendy (Youse) Franklin and brother Larry D. Youse.

A viewing will be Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Mae A. Stump funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Contributions can be made to the Cheryl C. Carter, Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 307, Fleetwood, PA. All the funds will be used to purchase a memorial bench in her name on the Board Walk at Wildwood Crest.
