Claire M. Schittler, 62, of Oley, passed away on December 17, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She is the wife of Richard H. Schittler, they had been married 16 years.

Claire was born on August 10, 1950 in Pottstown. She was the daughter of the late Frank J. Sieber and Clara M. (Mossman) Sieber.

She worked for Life Time Financial Services, Shillington. Prior she was employed by the former Boyertown Casket Company.

She loved going to yard sales, caring for her animals and being with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Richard and daughter Terri L. (Bechtel) wife of Jason R. Lindenmuth of Mertztown. Two step sons Michael husband of Barbara Schittler, of Fleetwood and Brian husband of Jodi Schittler of Steam Valley, PA. Also grandchildren Matt, Emma, Micah, Elijah, Hunter, Wendy and Kenny. Two great grandchildren Kenny III and Desiree. Other survivors include sister Toni (Sieber) wife of Thomas Sawyer of Birdsnest, VA., brother Frank J. Sieber of Boyertown and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM from Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, with Rev. Cheryl F. Meinschein officiating. A viewing will be at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to service time. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, Dryville.
