Clarence S. Heist, Jr.

Clarence S. Heist, Jr., 77, formerly of Dryville, passed away on April 10, 2015 in Kutztown Manor.
Born on August 8, 1937, in Rockland Township, the son of the late Clarence S. Heist, Sr. and Katie E. (DeLong) Heist.
He graduated from Kutztown High School.
Clarence was the owner operator of the former Heist Grocery Store in New Jerusalem from 1959 to 1970. From 1970 till his retirement he worked from his home doing tax preparation and selling insurance.
He is survived by two nieces Cynthia L. Wenrich of Kutztown and Cheryl A. Wenrich – Smith of Honeybrook.
Clarence was preceded in death his sisters, M. Bernice (Heist) Kramer and Dorothy M. (Heist) Wenrich.
Funeral services will be private.
