Obituary

Dale P. Bubbenmoyer, age 73, of Blandon, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Exeter Green Care and Rehabilitaion Center, Exeter Township. The husband of Gloria M. (Dietrich) Bubbenmoyerr. They were married on July 20, 1968 and would celebrated 49 years of marriage this year.

Born on September 29, 1943, in Blandon the son of the late William A. Bubbenmoyer and Helen (Phillips) Bubbenmoyer.

Dale attended  Fleetwood High School. In 1968 he started working at the former Empire Steel, Temple and spent the next 25 years in their employment till its closing in 2003.

Dale was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon Fire Company and Kutztown Rod and gun Club.

He was an avid hunter and would deer hunt in woods above Blandon and in Schuylkill County.  In spring and summer he could be found fishing on the Ontelaunee Creek. Woodworking was his hobby and would constructed many pieces of furniture and made many keepsake boxes for family and friends. Later in life he became a cat fan and loved his cats Gracie and Lilly and his many outside cat friends. The cowboy channel was his favorite entertainment and John Wayne movies at the top of list.

Dale's world revolved around his love for his children and grandchildren. Survived by his wife Gloria, d aughter, Debbi L. (Bubbenmoyer) wife of Joseph Stinsky of Fleetwood and grandchildren SrA Justin A. Bubbenmoyer of Panama City, Florida. Ryan W. Bubbenmoyer of Mertztown, Marissa L. Bubbenmoyer Mont Alto, PA , Gabrielle L. Stinsky of Fleetwood. Also sister Linda F. (Bubbenmoyer) wife of Carl E. Hill of Reading and brother Glenn Bubbenmoyer husband of Mona Bubbenmoyer of Temple and sister-in-law Patricia Wily of Kutztown.

Dale was preceded in death by his son Todd A. Bubbenmoyer who passed in 2016 and brother Mark Wily.

A viewing will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday June 1 st at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sarah A. Hertzog officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Gernants Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township.
