Darlene A. LaFaver, age 48, of Fleetwood, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2018 in her residence. She was the wife of Michael D. LaFaver they celebrated 25 years of marriage on September 6 ^th .

Darlene was born in Allentown, the daughter of Ronald Haas Sr. and Faye ( Stoudt ) Haas of Mertztown.

She graduated from Brandywine High School in 1987.

Darlene worked for the Borough of Fleetwood for the last five years. She previously had been employed by East Penn Manufacturing, Paul Frederick, Fleetwood and the former Fleetwood Shirt, Corp.

Her hobby was paranormal investigations and was a member of Kutztown Area Scientific Paranormal Evidence Research also known as K.A.S.P.E.R.. She worked as a video photographer. Her other interest were watching NASCAR Races and going to Grandview Race Track. During summer months playing miniature golf every Saturday and Sunday two of her favorites places were Heisler's in Tamaqua and night golf at Waltz Golf Farm in Limerick. She also enjoyed roller skating and it was at Route 100 Roller Rink was where she met Michael.

Darelene a is survived by her husband Michael parents Ron and Faye sister Donna (Haas) Hordendort of Mertztown and brother Ronald Haas Jr. of Seisholzville. In laws Richard and Janice LaFaver.  Other survivors include many nieces and nephews and a future great niece.

A viewing will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral services from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.
