David L. Bausher, 68, passed away Sunday October 5, 2014 in Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia with his loving family by his side.
Born in Perry Township on December 24, 1945, he was the son the late Paul P. Bausher and Mabel H. (Dreibelbis) Bausher.
David was a 1963 graduate of Oley Valley High School.
He had been employed for 42 years by Clover Farms Dairy, Reading. Prior he worked for Red Cheek, Corp. Fleetwood and Muhlenberg Dairy. He last worked for Christian Concern, Kutztown as a shuttle bus driver. He also had a business call David's Shuttle Service.
David was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Topton. Other memberships where the Virginville Grange #1832, where he served as a steward. He also was the treasurer for the Bausher Family Reunion.
He loved attending car shows and traveling with his family.
Survived by his loving wife Sandra A. (Zwoyer) Bausher with whom he would have celebrated 44 years of marriage on October 10th daughters Rebecca A. (Bausher) Moyer – Strausser wife of John Strausser of Topton and Margaret A. (Bausher) Zilinski wife of Michael J. Zilinski of Oley, grandchildren Nathan, Spencer, Cora and Becca. Also surviving is a sister Darlene M. (Bausher) wife of Terry Heinly of Jacksonville, Florida. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his brother Donald P. Bausher.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 12:00 noon from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Richmond Township.
