David Robert Gift, 69, of Fleetwood, peacefully passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was the cherished husband of Sharen M. (Heckman) Gift, with whom he joyfully spent 27 years. David was born in Reading, the son of the late Robert W. gift and Doris J. (Sanders) Gift..

A 1972 graduate of Oley Valley Area High School. His early years of employment was first with G. Robert Bilger at Bob's Sabaru Fleetwood and Temple which later became Steve Moyer Sabaru where he spent many years as a car sales person. His last employment was with East Penn Manufacturing in Lyon's.

David was a Philadelphia sports fan which included the Flyers, Eagles and the Phillies. Locally he was a long time season ticket holder for the Reading Royals. He also was a NASCAR fan. David was an active member and Vice President of Friends of Fleetwood Park. The park was the place where he daily walked his three dachshunds Montana, Wentz and Foles. David especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survived by his wife Sharen, daughter Kristie L. (Gift) wife of Ethan Flory and step children Melissa Alvarez, Tina Kaiser, Sean Heckman. Grandchildren Dreyden Flory and Ryker Flory. Step grandchildren Jaylynn, Javian, Jocelynn and Killian. Step great grandson Amenadiel. Also surviving is a brother Mark A. Gift.

A viewing will be Tuesday November 21 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM followed by a funeral service at 4:00PM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.
