Dennis A. Guinther, age 79 formerly of Fleetwood passed away on Friday January 5, 2018 in his Wyomissing residence, surrounded by his family.

Born on January 3, 1939 in New Jerusalem. He was the son of Verna M. (Sheetz) Guinther and the late Adam F. Guinther.

He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

He worked for the Berks County Association for the Blind, Reading for 26 years and Tarsus, Inc. Fleetwood for 3years.

Survived by his mother Verna M. Guinther of Wyomissing uncles Ernest L. Sheetz of Blandon and Lester Sheetz of Temple.

Other survivors include many nieces, nephews and cousins

A viewing will be Wednesday morning 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. from New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, New Jerusalem. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial in New Jerusalem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Dennis's memory to the Memorial Fund New Jerusalem Lutheran Church 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
