Diane L. Herbein, age 62, of Richmond Township, passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2019 in her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Reading the daughter of the late Eli Kenneth Herbein and Florence D. (Roshorn) Herbein.

A 1974 graduate of Reading High School. Diane had been employed by the former H. Oritsky, Inc., Reading from 1974 to 1990. She then was employed by Tompkins Insurance, Wyomissing from 1990 to 2014. In 2015 she joined the firm of J. Wise Construction Co., Reading retiring in 2017.

Diane loved traveling in the United States with her best friend Pat Lesher. They also attended weekly ceramic classes and gifting most of the thing they made to family and friends. Diane loved to organize Sunday family dinners which included all her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was very supportive her nieces and nephews sports. Rarely missing an event.

Diane is survived by sister's Cynthia L. (Herbein wife of David Kienle, Fleetwood and Beverly A. (Herbein) wife of Herbert Gerhart of Newmanstown. Other survivors include niece Kristina L. (Kienle) wife of Youssel Fahim; nephews Daniel E. Kienle husband of Anne Kienle and David K. Kienle husband of Heather Kienle all of Fleetwood; great nieces Yasmeena Fahim, Daliah Fahim, Nadia Fahim and Harper Kienle. Great nephews John Eli Kienle and James Kienle

A viewing will be Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at  Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. and burial will be in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville.                                                                            In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Diane's memory to either the American Cancer Society, P.O.
