Donald R. Freeman, age 83 of Fleetwood died Friday September 14, 2018 in his residence with his companion of 39 years Pamela F. Chipperfield at his side.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Chester Freeman and Alice (Heath) Freeman.

Donald worked for the former Hoffman Industries, Sinking Spring, retiring after 40 years.

He is survived by his companion Pamela and children Donald R. Freeman, Jr. of Illinois, Michael D. Freeman of Illinois, Brenda L. (Freeman) Hoyer of Reading and Vicki L. Freeman, Reading. Also 8 grandchildren and12 great-grandchildren.

Other survivors are siblings Chester Freeman, Jr. of Virginville, Robert Freeman, Reading and Betty (Freeman) Hinds, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

A viewing will be Saturday September  22 ^nd from 10:00 am to 11:00am from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
