Doris Irene Mae Brey Moyer, of Keystone Villa at Fleetwood, a beloved mother peacefully passed away on December 4, 2023, at The Lutheran Home at Topton in Topton, PA. She was born on November 8, 1926, in West Reading.

Doris graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA, in 1944 and went on to serve as the postmaster for Virginville, PA, and Kempton, PA, for an admirable 22 years. Her commitment to her professional life as she held roles as both the president and secretary of the Berks County Postmasters Association. Doris was also an active member of the National Active ,Retired Federal Employees Association and Eastern Star East Penn Chapter 336 OES, Kutztown.

She is survived by her loving family, including her daughters,  Susan A. (Moyer) Nace, wife of David P. Nace, and Kimberly A. Moyer. She is also remembered by her son-in-law James W. Lennox, and her grandchildren Seth A. Nace, Adam J. Nace, and Courtney S. Lennox. Doris leaves behind a legacy carried on by her great-grandchildren Logan Nace, Aiden Nace, Wyatt Nace, Ashley Nace and Owen Nace.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband John C. Moyer, father Norman C. Brey, mother Mae C. (Filbert) Brey Bickel, daughter Janice L. (Moyer) Lennox and brother Norman H. Brey.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family.The interment will then be held at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association in Doris's honor.
