Dorothy P. Hilbert, age 86, formerly of Feetwood, passed away in Laurel Center, Tilden Township on September 22, 2012. She was the wife of the late Carl H. Hilbert who passed in 2001.

Born in 1926 in Rockland Township she was the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Carrie B. (Ruppert) Weidner.

A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Fleetwood. Other memberships included being the past vice president and financial secretary of Ruscombmanor Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary and past financial secretary of Walnuttown Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary. She also was a member of the Shoemakersville Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary.

A devoted, mother who cared for her children and took special care for her daughter Darlene for 49 years.

Surviving are children Terry L. Hilbert, Temple, Allen C. Hilbert, Hyde Park and Karen J. (Hilbert) Kucier, Shoemakersville. Grandchildren Sherry Kucier Hoffman, Tiffany M. Hilbert, Angela R. Hilbert Emes, Timothy L. Hilbert, Steven L. Hilbert, David L. Hilbert, Shawn A. Hilbert and John E. Hilbert. Great grandchildren Brittany, Juliann, Alyssa, John Thomas, Alanna and Haylee. Also one sister Betty (Weidner) widow of James Long, Fleetwood. She was preceded in death by her daughter Darlene G. Hilbert in 1997 and sister Anna Mae (Weidner) Wahl in 1993

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 9:30AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30AM. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood
