Dorothy M (Sherer) Kratzer, age 81, of Fleetwood, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2014 surrounded by her family. The wife of the late Norman Kratzer who passed in 1983.
Born on June 6, 1933, in New Ringgold, Schuylkill County. She was the daughter of Harvey Sherer and Myrtle (Quillman) Mathias Sherer.
Dorothy had been employed by Ludens Corporation and later Hershey Foods, Reading, retiring after 25 years. Dorothy loved crocheting and was a big Phillies fan.
Survived by her children: Westley Grant, Sr. of Adams, Wisconsin, Catherine (Grant) Snyder of Landsford, Viola (Grant) wife of Roger Landis of Fleetwood, Kim (Kratzer) wife of George Sterner of Birdsboro and Kevin Kratzer of Fleetwood. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie (Grant) Anher, sister Betty (Sherer) Miller, and brother Leroy M. Quillman.
Funeral services will be Saturday December 13th at 11:00am from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc.. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be at 10:00am to time of service. Burial will be in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Breinigsville. Dorothy's family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their help and support
