Douglas M. Allen, 55, passed away Wednesday August 26, 2015 in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bern Township
Born in Troy, PA on November 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Donald E. Allen and Carol L. (Ziegenhine) Allen.
He was graduate of Fleetwood High School and served in U S Navy from 1979 to 1985.
Douglas had worked for Milprint and Wyomissing Paper.
He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed bowling, playing pool and golfing.
Survived by his five siblings Deborah L. (Allen) wife of Larry Leisey of Charlotte, NC, Donald E. Allen, Jr. of Boyertown, David M. Allen of Boyertown. Darlene L. (Allen) wife of D. Scott Moyer of Fleetwood and Daniel M. Allen husband of Trish Allen of Temple. Also 22 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew and one great niece.
Funeral service will be Saturday September 5th at 1:00 PM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A visitation with family will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Burial will be private Spies Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the memorial fund of Douglas M. Allen, P. O. Box 307, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
