Duane C. Redline, aged 92, of Rockland Township, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the cherished husband of Doris L. (Neubauer) Redline, with whom he joyfully celebrated 65 years of marriage. Duane was born in Almedia, Columbia County, the son of the late Stanley Redline and Reba (McHenry) Redline.

A 1948 graduate of Scott Township High School, Duane enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served as a veteran of the Korean War. Following his military service, he pursued education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and embarked on a successful 34-year career at Bell Laboratories, retiring in 1990.

Duane was an active member of the former New Jerusalem United Church of Christ, where he served on the consistory for many years. Additionally, he dedicated a decade of service as a board member of New Jerusalem Cemetery. Passionate about community service, Duane volunteered as an ambulance driver for Fleetwood Fire Company, Station 45. His lifelong interest in ham radio operations, with the call sign W3UQH, spanned an impressive 70 years. Duane was also a proud member of the Reading Radio Club and the Antique Wireless Association AWA. He also was a member Huguenot Lodge No. 377 F&M Kutztown.

Survived by his loving wife Doris and son Keith D. Redline, husband of Donna (Smith) Redline. Duane is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, C. D' Amond Redline.
