Elaine M. Berger, 73 of Maxatawny Township, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2020. Elaine was  married to her loving husband, Arlan C. Berger, for 53 years. Born in Allentown, PA, Elaine was the daughter of the late Clayton P. and Edith M. (Weisner) Kerschner. Elaine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and  grandmother. She loved gardening, baking, cooking,  puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Elaine was a homemaker and also worked for the Kutztown  Area School District before retiring.

In addition to her husband, Elaine will be remembered by her children, Glenn A. Berger, husband of Heidi; Charles A. Berger, husband of Karen; Ronald R. Berger husband of Tara; and Keith C. Berger, companion of Dawn; her six grandchildren Sarah, Rebecca, Katelyn, Julia, Lila, Logan; her half brothers Brian L. Kerschner, Sr. and David P. Kerschner, Sr. She was preceded in death by her step brother Leonard Snyder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the Mae Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street Fleetwood, PA 19522, on Thursday, September 10th from 9 AM until 11 AM, followed by a public graveside service 12 noon at Maxatawny Zion Cemetery, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, PA 19530.
