Eric Karl Rineman, age 67, passed away on April 20, 2024, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA.

Eric was born on November 26, 1956, in Hanover, York, PA, to Jacob Rineman and Kathryn B. (Bair) Rineman, both of whom predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Craig Rineman with whom he shared a special bond.

On June 25, 1988, Eric married the love of his life, Tamara K. (Loar) Rineman. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Eric was deeply committed to his family, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, survived by his wife Tamara, children Wade Rineman (husband of Sarah Rineman), Maggie Rineman, and Evan Perets (husband of Beth Perets), and grandson Darren Perets. He was also a brother to Elaine (Rineman) Miller, Larry Rineman, Steve Rineman, and Carla (Rineman) Fisher, and leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A graduate of Hanover High School, and was an outstanding football player. Later, Eric played semi-pro football, showcasing his passion for sports. He had a particular love for volleyball and enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was hiking, fishing, golfing and playing football with his grandson Darren. Since 2018, Eric had been dedicated to his wlork as East Coast Director of Service for Manroland Sheetfed, of Chicago.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., starting at 12:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 1:00 PM. The funeral home is located at 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Eric's burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the American Heart Association or The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in Eric's memory.
