Erma M. "Nana" Heffner, age 93, of Fleetwood, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2014 in her residence. The wife of the late Paul R. Heffner who passed in 1996.
Born on October 3, 1921 in Rockland Township the daughter of the late Solon Breidigam and Annie (Conrath) Breidigam.
Erma had worked for the former Levan - Gehrke Textile, Sharlet Underwear and the Gernert Home all in Fleetwood. Last working at Unique Pretzels, Reading during the Christmas season.
She was a very loving and devoted mother who loved being with her grandchildren and great granddaughter's.
Erma is survived by daughter Linda L.(Heffner) wife of Richard C. Witwer, Jr. of Fleetwood. Also two grandchildren Tammy L. (Witwer ) wife of Bruce Seidel, Fleetwood and Richard P. Witwer husband of Rebecca Witwer of Fleetwood and three great grandchildren Juli, Olivia and Grace.
Other survivors include two sisters Lena C. Breidigam of Topton and Alma (Breidigam) Hilbert of Boyertown. She was preceded in death by her brothers Earl Breidigam and Lee Breidigam.
A viewing will be held Wednesday October 29th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
