Ernest S. Hill,, age 78, of Blandon, passed peacefully on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at the Willow Brooke Health Center, Kutztown. He was the husband of Linda M. (Arnold) Hill, they were married on April 18, 1964 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Greenwich Township, the son of the late Wayne S, Hill and Stella P. (Kerchner) Hill.

He was a 1962 graduate of Fleetwood High School. First employed by American Casualty Co., Reading, for three years. In 1964 he joined Carpenter Technology, Reading as a data processer and retired as supervisor of technology department after 35 years with the company.

In his retirement he worked for Miller - Keystone Blood Center for 14 years as a courier.

Ernie enjoyed golfing and playing with his son Mike and grandson Bryce. He liked going to casinos, antiquing, auctions and fishing. When he was younger he was involved in Little League Baseball with the Fleetwood Area Baseball Association where he coached and was a past president.

Ernie was a loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Linda and children Michael Hill husband of Michele Hill of Birmingham, AL and Lisa Hill, grandchildren Bryce Kerr, Dylan Pauley and Alayna Pauley. Ernie was very proud of his grandchildren Alayna who is an RN at Reading Hospital, Bryce who is a fitness trainer and Dylan an entrepreneur. Other survivors are his brothers Wayne R. Hill, Carl E. Hill and Warren J. Hill. \Ernie will be missed by all who knew and loved him

A viewing will be Thursday June 9 ^th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.

Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
