Eva J. Lutz, age 83, of Fleetwood, formerly of Reading, passed away on Friday morning August 19, 2016 in Berks County Home, Bern Township. She was the wife of Ronald G. Lutz and they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Born in Mahanoy City on December 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George Eckert and Ethel (Boyer) Eckert. Eva was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1950.
Eva had last worked for UGI, Reading as an accounting clerk. Previous work included Linette Quality Chocolate, Womelsdorf, King Kup Candy, Reading, R. M. Palmer Candy, Reading and the former American Bank.
She had been a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.
Eva found great joy in watching Jimmy Johnson in NASCAR races, staying tuned to QVC and camping with family.
Surviving are her husband Ronald and children Kathleen A. (Kretz) wife of Glenn Harbonic of Topton and Donna J. (Kretz) wife of Barry Wentzel of Blandon. Other survivors are grandchildren, Tamara A. Miller, Bradley S. Wentzel and Jeremy L. Harbonic. Also her great grandchildren Hunter R. Wentzel, Jacob R. Wentzel, SaraAnn K. Harbonic and Abram R. Harbonic.
A viewing will be Wednesday 24th from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by funeral services at 11:00am from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.
