Fay B. Brinker, age 69, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 in Berks Heim.  She was born December 2, 1947 in Reading the daughter of the late Walter Brinker and Kathryn (Weida) Brinker.

Fay was a 1965 graduate of Fleetwood High School. She had worked at Van Scoy Jewelers in Wyomissing for 26 years. She loved the outdoors, from golfing at Pleasant Hills or RichMaiden, to kayak fishing for strippers in Rock Hall, Maryland. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and going to Longwood Gardens for inspiration. Fay loved cats and advocated for One by One Cat Rescue and sponsored adopted cats.  One of her favorite hobbies was photography; she took great pride in every photo.

Fay is survived by her daughter Monica L. Riegel wife of Dustin L. Riegel of Reading. Grandchildren Kathryn P. Prutzman, Reading, Mason L. Riegel, Reading and Brandon L. Riegel husband of Dana Riegel, West Lawn. Also surviving are brothers Dale Brinker husband of Mary Brinker of Allentown, Craig Brinker husband of Marcie Brinker of Kutztown, Keith Brinker husband of Jeanette Brinker of Fleetwood and Lynn Brinker husband of Ann Brinker of Fleetwood, and her BFF Judith Bauer!

Fay was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Brinker.

Calling hours will Tuesday 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in Fay's memory to One By One Cat Rescue, P. O. Box 272, Temple, PA 19560 or McGlinn Cancer Center, Attn.: Steve, Sixth Ave and Spruce St., West Reading, PA 19611. Make check to Reading Health System Foundation, make a note in memory of Fay Brinker. Fay asks that everyone plant a gingko tree in order to remember her.
