Fern June Kohler, 84, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of the late Paul E. Kohler. Fern was the daughter of the late Lucy Hess.

For many years she worked at Unicast Company, Boyertown, other employment was with The Grill Shop in Boyertown and Kutztown University.

Some of her interests were going to Shellhammers Speedway in Leesport and watching NASCAR racing. She also loved watching game shows and in the summer from her porch she would watch the Fleetwood Little League games and loudly ring a cast iron bell when there was a home run.

Fern is survived by her children Cynthia L. (Kline) wife of David Bortz, Warren L. Kline, Carla D. (Kline) Davis companion of James Boehm and Terry L. Kline.

In addition, she is survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandchildren and one great grandson.

A viewing will be held at Mae Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood on Sunday November 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be private with burial in St. Paul's Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Fern can be made to the American Heart Association.
