Fern H. Miller, age 95, of Walnuttown, passed away on Monday September 16, 2024, at Reading Hospital.. She was the wife of the late Norman H. Miller, who passed in 2011. Fern was born in Reading. daughter of the late Albert L. Underkoffler and Berth M. (Heim) Underkoffler.

Fern had been employed as a hairdresser for the former Claffey Beauty Shop prior to her retirement. Fern attended Maidencreek Church in Blandon.

She enjoyed shopping, watching Turner Classic old movies. A collector of Lighthouse images and miniature models. She loved lighthouses so much that at age 90 she had a lighthouse tattooed on her arm. She also was a collector of butterflies

Fern is survived by many nieces, nephews and many good neighbors.

She was predeceased by her husband Norman and son Michael.

A viewing will be Monday September 23rd  from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
