Frederic S. Keller

Frederic "Fred" Scott Keller, 68, was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. He previously lived in Fleetwood and most recently in Shoemakersville.

Fred dedicated 43 years to Heyco Metals, where his strong work ethic defined his career and motivated his family.

He was a devoted dad who never missed a game, supporting his son Matt at baseball, and he coached Little League. Though he had a fear of flying, Fred flew to Atlanta to visit his daughter and later made the trip to California, putting his feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time.

Fred enjoyed watching all Philadelphia sports teams and loved rock and roll, even playing the drums.

He is survived by his children, Alison McKnight and Matthew Keller (Kaitlyn), and was a loving Pap Pap to his grandchildren: Ezra Michael Keller, Nolan John Keller, John Henry McKnight (Justin Park), and Jordan McKnight Swanson (Matthew Swanson).

He is also survived by his partner, Elizabeth Fite, and her daughter, Stephanie Pfeiffer (Chris), and their daughters, Brynlee and Adalynn; his former spouse, Connie Schaeffer Keller; and his brothers, J. Maxwell Keller (Nancy) and Richard L. Keller (Joanne).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Janet L. Keller and John E. Keller, and his son-in-law, John McKnight.

Fred was the life of the party and always brought laughter to those around him.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood, PA.
