Gary R. Knowles, 68, of Fleetwood, PA, passed away on June 25, 2025, at Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leesport, PA seven months after suffering a stroke.

Born on April 2, 1957, in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Sophie S. (Czartorynski) Knowles.

Gary previously worked at Michaels Classic Limousine and most recently worked for Unique Chauffeured Services. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was fortunate to drive Terry Bradshaw.  Among other favorite notable clients was Dr. Ruth. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and loved vacationing on a tropical island.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn M. (Carpenter-Gamler) Knowles; his son, Jared G. Knowles; his stepchildren Adam C. Gamler, husband of Debbie, Julie M. Miller, wife of Jimmy, Tara L. Goodman, wife of Chad, and Curtis Sites.

Gary was a proud grandfather to Ayden Knowles, Isys Goodman-Dore, Trace Goodman, Conner Sites, Ajah Goodman, Gabrielle Auman, Corbin Gamler, Theo Miller, and Cameron Miller, and great-grandfather to Jameson and Gwynevere.

Also surviving are his in-laws, Gary and Deb Carpenter, Cindy Carpenter, Brian and Judy Carpenter; and Susan and Ray Beaver. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marcia Evans.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Maidencreek Township Community Park, 753 Park Road, Blandon, PA.
