Former Chief of Police George E. Endy, passed away on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 after his battle with cancer at the age of 81. George was predeceased by his father Henry R. Endy and his mother Eva M. Endy (Stufflet). George was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, as well as a valued community leader. He proudly served as Oley Township police chief from 1978-2003. George also supported his community through work with Fleetwood Police, Fleetwood ambulance and FOP Berks Lodge 71. He also enjoyed his volunteer work with the Oley fair for many years.

George is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dolores (Dolly) Endy, his brother Ronald Endy, his sister Linda Epler (Endy), his daughter Kelli and her husband Jeremy, his son Kevin and his wife Laurie, 6 grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Viewing services will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 4pm - 6pm. An additional viewing service will also be held on Monday, March 7th at 10am followed by funeral services at 11am. Viewing and funeral services will be held at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. located at 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood, PA. 19522. Following the funeral service, George will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park located at 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
