George Roger Mumma, age 77, of Fleetwood, passed away on Sunday February 18, 2018 in Reading Hospital Medical Center.

Born on September 11, 1940, in Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late George Sipe Mumma and Ruth D. (DeMott) Mumma.

Roger graduated in the class of 1958 from Barboursville High School, Barboursville, West Virginia. He had worked for Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Also worked part time at Chuck's Auto Salvage, Douglassville.

He served in the U S Coast Guard for four years

Roger was a member of Strausstown Rod and Gun Club, Kutztown Rod and Gun Club and Fleetwood Social Quarters. He loved going to yard sales.

Survived by his grandchildren Zachary G. Mumma and Joshua L. Mumma.

He was preceded in death by his friend of 20 years Laura Johnson, brother James Thomas Mumma February 7, 1945and grandson Nicholas A. Mumma August 17, 2016
