George Edwin Strausser, age 90, of Maidencreek Township passed away on July 22, 2024, at Laureldale Center Nursing . He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Strause) Strausser who passed on August 24, 2013.  George was born, in West Reading the son of the late Clarence. Strausser and the late Elsie (Wesner) Strausser..

Prior to his retirement he worked at Fromm Electric, Prestolite and Quakermaid. George enjoyed his rides on his Harley Motorcycle and was a member of the Schuylkill County Motorcycle Club. George always loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George is survived by his daughter, Bonnie L. (Strausser) Heffner. Grandchildren Janelle L. Fenstermacher, Brandy M. Snyder, Amy B. Beetel. Step-grandchildren Richard J. Heffner and Jeremiah C. Heffner. Great Grandchildren Ty, Chase, Austin, Madelynn, Sarah, Christian, Riley. Aslo one Step-Granddaughter Lily.

A visitation will be held at 100 pm to2:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be private in St. John's Gernant's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of George  to the Laney"s Legacy of Hope, P.O. Box 5861, Wyomissing, PA 19610
