Glen David Gehret, 75, of Kutztown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 15, 1950, in Reading, PA, a son of the late Richard Gehret and Evelyn I. (Heinly) Gehret.
Glen was an avid motorcycle rider who traveled all over the country with his friends. He was a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club in Oley, PA, the Kutztown Fire Co., and the Pikeville Gun Club. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting deer with family and friends, and he treasured the time he spent with his loved ones. When he wasn't watching old westerns, he could be found in local diners, talking with friends. Glen was employed by Arrow International, Inc. for 42 years.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Debra Weidner wife of Eric Hottenstein of Fleetwood, PA; his nephew, Greg Katerman; his niece, Erin Reitnauer; and his great-nephews, Gregory Katerman, Brandon Katerman, Cain Reitnauer, and Joshua Reitnauer. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, 265 Maidencreek Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
