Glen M."Bones" Landis, age 57, of Fleetwood, passed away on August 13, 2016. He was the husband of Karen L. (Gruber) Landis with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage on April 20th.
Born on June 28, 1959 in Reading, he was the son of Raydell (Hepner) Landis Schittler and the late Glenson W. Landis.
He attended Fleetwood High School. Glen worked for 17 years as a custodian for the Fleetwood School District.
He was a NASCAR late model car race fan and rarely missed a race at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville. Glen was member of Fleetwood Fire Co. Social Quarters and the Fraternal Order of Orioles Nest 23 of Fleetwood.
He is survived by his wife Karen, son Russell J. Landis husband of Tiffany (Wentzel) Landis of Oregon, mother Raydell (Hepner) wife of Larry Schittler of Laureldale and sister Cynthia A. (Landis) Clifton of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be Sunday at 2:00 PM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Inurnment will be private. Glen loved the special needs students at Fleetwood in lieu of flowers make contributions to the Fleetwood Area School District Foundation, c/o Special Needs Grant, 801 North Richmond Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
